Has it ever happened that you followed your heart, went ahead and made someone feel special - through words or a gift or just a simple gesture, and what followed was MAGIC?
Many times I have made my loved ones feel special. But the story which I am going to share is a bit different.
This is actually when I did not realize that I am making someone feel Special...All I was doing was just following my heart.
I joined as a fresher in a IT company. My first project (since it was a development project) completed last month. During 1.5 years of the project I had a supervisor who guided me and assigned my tasks during the project. He trusted me for my work and often appreciated the way I worked. This really helped me work harder and get the best out of me.
I felt my Supervisor really deserved a Thank You from me. So, all I did was bought a Thank You card and wrote what I felt, I just followed my heart. I did not know what would it mean to him then. He was really surprised and happy. I was shock to know that during 11 years of his IT life he had never received a Thank You card. And what came next was even more exciting.
Few days later he gifted me a book saying "You are one of the Best Associate I have ever worked with. All the Best". It was one of the best appreciation I have ever received . A 11 years experienced IT guy saying that in those 11 years I am one of the best associate he worked with it really meant a lot.
I just followed my heart but what followed was MAGIC!!!
